WEEK 27 – 33
During the summer, there will be plenty of activity on Dueodde beach and you and your family can join for free as guests of the hostel and campsite. JOIN@BORNHOLM wants to give you and your family a fantastic and active holiday, with wonderful experiences together and where you have the opportunity to exercise, have fun and feel the peace.
GOOD TO KNOW:
- Registration is not required to participate in activities.
- Meeting place (see where here)
- Meeting time 10 min before activity begins.
- JOIN@BORNHOLM has yoga mats and blankets.
- In case of bad weather, we cancel
- Remember a bottle of water.
- All children are welcome
A fun and different dance evening for both children and adults. We’ll dance on the beach to music and simple steps. Everyone is given Holi colors to throw in the air and on each other. Wear a white T-shirt and come have a great evening full of beautiful colors.
Beach Workout is based on interval training and combines strength and stamina exercises. It’s a great way to burn calories and challenge your whole body.
Let’s go for a beach and focus on core muscles! Pilates improves balance, strengthen muscles, reduces stress level and improves our well-being. It’s also a great movement for those who suffer from back pains. Conjunction of strengthening and stretching with elements of deep breath is a magical mixture to stay in balance.
VINYASA YOGA involves a ”flow” from one position to the next while maintaining a steady rhythm of breath. This method leads to a more physically demanding session. We reccomend Vinyasa Yoga to intermediate and advanced practitioners
RESTORATIVE YOGA creates balance in the nervous system. It works therapeutically as the body is allowed to rest and thereby heal itself. Body and mind enter into a collaboration and help us get rid of e.g. stress, depression, anxiety, insomnia, muscle tension.
HATHA YOGA Practiced at a slower pace, Hatha Yoga allows you to focus on the controlled movement, alignment, stability and stretching. Hatha Yoga is perfect for beginners, as well as more advanced practitioners.
